Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Leander Group. Deep yellow and paaling to light yellow. Approximately 110 petals. Repeat flowering. A yellow rose of delicate beauty; the flowers are of a particularly pleasing cupped formation. The center petals are in the form of a rich, deep yellow cup, while the outer petals fall back and fade to palest yellow - providing a most pleasing two-tone effect. The growth is strong but graceful, displaying the flowers nicely. It is superb as either a rounded shrub or a climber, although, if the former, it may need some summer pruning to keep it compact. Excellent disease-resistance and repeat-flowering. A very refined and desirable rose in all respects. Pleasant, medium-strong Tea Rose fragrance. Named for Mr. Ulrich Meyer, after his wife Georgia. Winner of a number of awards. height 4 ft. x 3.5 ft. or 8 ft. as a climber. (David Austin 1998. Ausbaker). Cupped flowers. 110 petals.
