Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Old Rose Hybrid. Apricot. Approximately 70 petals. Repeat flowering. One of our earlier varieties and still a very worthwhile rose especially in the warmer areas where it stays reliably short. It is closely related to Gloire de Dijon and it has inherited both its lovely, glistening, apricot color and its delicious fragrance. It forms a shot bush, suitable for rose beds, borders, or hedges. The flowers are remarkable and very delicious fragrance with aspects of lilac and mimosa. An excellent variety in warmer areas. The name comes from Shakespeare's play, 'Titus Andronics'. Height 3 ft. x 3 ft. (David Austin 1983, Austamora). Shallow cups flowers. 70 petals.
