Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Leander Group. Soft apricot-pink. Approximately 100 petals. Repeat flowering. Medium sized, slightly open flowers if a distinctly cupped, rounded formation. These are held well apart in open sprays nodding, peony-like, on stems. The color is usually very soft apricot-pink, but varies according to the weather and so can be pure, soft pink sometimes. As the flower ages it turns almost white. Altogether a most elegant rose. The fragrance is very strong and both remarkableand unusual: an English Rose myrrh character with lemon and almond blossom. St. Cecilia is the patron saint of music and musicians. Height 4 ft. x 3 ft. (David Austin 1987, Ausmit). Medium sized, cupped flowers. 100 petals.
