Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Disease resistant, 36-48" shrubs, continuous blooms of glowing pink with a hint of copper, medium sized, fully double flowers with a light myrrh fragrance. Lightly thorned and more garden friendly, nice in the border or in a shrub line where it blooms al
English Musk. Apricot pink. Approximately 140 petals. Repeat flowering. The charming little rounded buds open to enclosed cups that eventually become wide, shallow cups. Their color is, at first, the softest glowing pink, later developing hints of apricot. The medium sized flowers are particularly beautiful at all stages and very 'Old Rose' in character. The growth is pright but bushy and exceptionally healthy. A particularly good rose for arranging in the house as the flowers last for many days when picked and they are are very few thorns. Medium to light myrrh fragrance. Named to commemorate the 350th anniversary of the treaty of friendship and commerce between Great Britian and Sweden. 4 ft. x 2.5 ft. (David Austin 2004, Austiger). Wide, shallow cups flowers. 140 petals.
