Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Leander Group. Bright copper. Approximately 50 petals. Repeat flowering. This was an entirely new color break in English Roses; a bright copper on the inside of the petals, with pale copper-yellow on the outer sides, giving a most attractive effect. The flowers are large and deeply cupped, well in proportion with the strong and slightly arching growth which is similar to Golden Celebration and the Abraham Darby. It may need summer pruning to maintain as a shrub. The fragrance is both delightful and strong: tea-scented with a warm, sensuous background. It was named after David Austin's wife who is an accomplished sculptress. Height 5 ft. x 3.5 ft. (David Austin 1995, Ausmum). Large, cupped flowers. 50 petals.
