Very large, very full, ; very fragrant, the crimson-to-purple flowers of this upright 4-6' well-foliaged plant are excellent for flower arrangements; a repeat bloomer. Sun/Med
Old Rose Hybrid. Dusky crimson. Approximately 80 petals. Repeat flowering. Massive cup-shaped flowers, filled with petals of a dusky crimson, mingled with a variety of light red shades. Its growth is tall and vigorous, with dark matt foliage and many thorns. A striking and unusual rose that does well in the heat. It can be quite vigorous in warmer areas and so should be summer pruned if you want to keep it growing and a shrub. Very hardy. It has a strong, rich Old Rose fragrance.
