Leander Group. Warm pink at the center paling to pale pink at the edges. Approximately 130 petals. Repeat flowering. A superb, large shrub with ling, beautifully arching. Almost thornless growth typical of our 'Leander' group. This is a tough, disease-free rose that is excellent for the back of a border. The flowers are large and full, with many petals arranged in a neat formation. The color is a lovely warm pink at the center, shading to pale pink at the edges. Very hardy. With its strong and relatively thornless growth it may well be better as a climber where it will easily reach a height of 10 ft. or more. Summer prune to maintain it as a shrub and encouarge quicker repeat flowering. Delicious Old Rose fragrance. Named in celebration of the 60th birthday of James Galway, the world famous flautist. Height 5 ft. x 3.5 ft. (David Austin 2000, Auscrystal). Large and full flowers. 130 petals. Almost thornless.
