Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Old Rose Hybrid. White. Approximately 120 petals. Repeat flowering. This rose bears medium sized, full, cupped flowers of dainty appearance. These are white, sometimes lightly tinted with buff at first. The growth is also dainty, but deceptively robust, being bushy, flowering freely and with exceptional continuity; in fact, some people say that it out-flowers a Floribunda in this respect. A good plant for the front of the border, or it could equally well be grown in a rose bed or even as a hedge. It has a light, typical English Rose, myrrh fragrance. Glamis Castle is the childhood home of the late Queen Mother and the legendary setting of one of Shakespeare's plays. Height 4 ft.x 3.5 ft. (David Austin 1992, Auslevel). Medium, cupped flowers. 120 petals.
