Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Leander Group. Apricot. Approximately 80 petals. Repeat flowering. A flower of beautifully mixed shades of pink, apricot and yellow giving, overall, the impression of rich apricot. At the bud stage, when the petals are just starting to unfurl, the inside of the petals are a very rich, deep apricot contrasting with the paler, soft yellow undersides. When fully open the center of the flower is still well filled with petals. It will quickly make a lovely, bushy, healthy shrub, the many flowers nodding very slightly. There is a strong and beautiful myrrh fragrance. This is a variety that particularly enjoys the climate of the USA. Carding Mill is an extremely beautiful valley in the Long Mynd just to the west of our UK nursery. Height 4 ft. x 3.5 ft. (David Austin 2004, Auswest). 80 petals.
