Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Leander Group. Soft peachy pink. Approximately 90 petals. Repeat flowering. This is a strong-growing, healthy shrub with large, glossy leaves that may well benefit from summer pruning. The flowers are cup-shaped in the early stages, opening to form attractive rosettes; their color being a soft peachy pink. It is in every way an excellent, hardy and reliable shrub of above average size. Delicious fruity fragrance in the Tea Rose tradition. The name is taken from one of A.E. Houseman's collection of poems. Our UK nursery is situated in the country of Shropshire. Height 5 ft. x 4 ft. or 8 ft. as a climber. (David Austin 1996, Ausled). Rosette shaped flowers. 90 petals. Glossy foliage.
