Viburnum 'Chesapeake' is a broadleaf semi-evergreen shrub with green foliage. In spring white flowers emerge followed by black and red fruit. Excellent choice for the shrub border. works well w/ broadleaf evergreens. FRAGRANCE permeates the entire garden. One of the best viburnums. Every garden should have a Viburnum. (Or more than one!) Virtually sterile so it puts all it's energy into blooming. Compact, dense mound-forming habit. Pink buds open to creamy white, fragrant blooms. This is a superb Viburnum. Great Fall color. For tidiness, shear to shape in early spring after bloom.
