Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Introduced by ?Chinese? Wilson in 1901, but little known, this large, erect shrub has long, sharply-toothed, dark-green leaves (once used by monks on Mt. Omei as a tea), and 1/2" egg-shaped red fruits. S-PSh/M
The perfect plant to add interest to your Fall Garden if you're in zones 5,6,7. This deciduous, multi-stemmed shrub has white flowers in late May, 1-2" in diameter and soft blue green foliage. But unlike other Viburnums known just for their blooms (which this is also good for), this beauty spans the seasons and is also known for it's VERY showy fruit! Reddish-orange, they open in October and are an ideal accent for the Fall garden. Flowers on new wood.
