Very heavy blooming with large white flower clusters (followed by good red, changing-to-black, fruit) on horizontally branched 8-12' shrubs; a new introduction from the National Arboretum. S-PSh/Med
tremendous 1979 introduction from the Nat. Arboretum. Excellent specimen shrub, especially against a dark background. Abundant 4-6" wide white flowers are larger than those on many other Viburnums. Reddish Fall color. This will become one of the hottest shrubs on the market! Gorgeous red berries in July and August. Ours does great in fairly deep shade, only some afternoon sun. It's been around awhile and yet is still "One of the finest flowering shrubs in America", according to shrub grower, Monrovia.
