Nursery contributed plant descriptions

This unusual, shrubby Euphorbia produces erect, 3-4' stems which hold gracefully horizontal branches of tiny, yellow-green flowers. Sun/Med
Virtually unknown in American gardens, Securinega/Flueggea is a shrub with upright, arching habit and light green, almost chartruese leaves on stems that are wand-like. In mid to late summer, greenhish white blooms appear along the stem and those are followed by green fruit capsules. However, it's not the blooms or the fruit that have particular value! Yes, they're nice BUT it's the foliage and the shape of this plant which can add a graceful look to the garden or landscape. It's also a primary Chinese medicine. Beautiful butter yellow Fall foliage. The only woody member of the Euphorbia family.
