Salix purpurea 'Nana' is a broadleaf deciduous aquatic shrub or tree with blue and green foliage. In spring green and white flowers emerge. Features glaucous texture. Attracts butterflies and hummingbirds making it an excellent addition to pollinator gardens. Grows well with sun - bright shade and even moisture - low water. Drought tolerant once established. Adapts to various soil conditions. Does well in average, clay, lean, rich and well-drained soil. A good option if you're seeking something heat tolerant and verticillium wilt resistant.
