We lusted after this one for a long time! Pretty arching shrub to 5' with a light & airy look – soft leaves have bright white edges – bright yellow flowers in mid spring sun to light shade – avg soil, water – fits in narrow spaces, corners, against walls, on a trellis or in a pot. Always a space for this well mannered beauty!
Variegated Japanese kerria -- not your grandmother's plant -- with toothed, triangular leaves of grayish green edged in white on a spreading shrub to 2 ft tall and wide over a few years. Flowers in spring, producing abundant, single, yellow flowers, showy against the textured foliage. Best in part shade, out of the hottest afternoon sun, in fertile, well-drained soil with summer water. Blooms on last year's wood so prune after flowering. Frost hardy to -30F, USDA zone 4. Occasionally found as K. japonica 'Variegata'.
Creamy white variegation on a lower growing plant. The inner leaf is gray-green, and the overall effect from a distance is that of a whitish-gray shrub. The same interesting green stems in winter as the above plant.

The beautifully variegated slightly bluish, deep green and white foliage will brighten any lightly shaded garden with its arching form and 2" golden yellow flowers in spring and summer. An easily grown Kerria with a daintier habit than most cultivars.
Lower-growing (2-4'), this "pleasing ; elegant creamy-white, variegated form of slow, spreading habit"(Hillier)has single yellow flowers. Sun-PSh/Med
Slender green stems in winter and attractive white-edged foliage makes this plant interesting even when not in flower. Bright yellow 5 petaled flowers in May.
Interesting, free-flowering shrub; could be used more extensively. Borders, masses, facer plant to hide leggy specimens. Tough plant, seems to withstand considerable abuse. Flowers in early spring then on and off sporadically all summer. Usually burns in full sun here in zone 7 but probably not in colder areas. Morning sun is great. Beautiful variegated foliage.

Sometimes confused with 'Picta', the variegation is very different. What makes this plant distinct is its creamy white splashes on the green foliage. Soft buttercup yellow single flowers.

More white than green in the leaves of this densely branched 4' x 4' shrub with green stems and yellow flowers.
