Nursery contributed plant descriptions

The bright green, spring growth on this densely textured, ground-covering juniper darkens as it matures into a thick carpet. The tidy, compact plant is extremely hardy and adaptable to a wide range of soil and climate conditions. It covers ground slowly.
A ground cover form of Common Juniper (which is usually a tree) with bright green new growth that matures to dark green. Very low growing. "Grows on the worst possible land", according to Michael Dirr and can make a handsome ground cover. Takes any pH. Just won't take the heat in the deep south. Tough little guy! Even though the common name is Siberian Juniper, it is very widespread and is also native to the US.
