Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Chinese Sweetspire has pendulous 3-4" racemes of white flowers in spring, very showy above glossy dark green leaves on an arching shrub. Grows about 12" a year. Useful because it will take deep shade. Very rare in the trade. The foliage is deemed by some as more attractive than our Native Itea.
