As festive as its name suggests, this 2-3' shrub not only has bright-yellow spring flowers to recommend it but brightly yellow-variegated leaves as well; New, from France. Ooh la la! S/M PP7523
Colorfully variegated leaves of green and yellow on red stems make a great show. You can be entertained with the foliage long after the yellow flowers are finished unlike the more common forsythia. This is not at all the plebeian plant of your youth. Medium-sized deciduous shrub, 3' x 3.' Minimum temperature: -20°F
Finally! A forsythia that won't fade into the background after its cheery yellow flowers herald the arrival of spring. 'Fiesta' has intriguing foliage variegated with cream, gold and dark green which are held by red stems. Compact growth and a nice mounding habit. And did you know that forsythia comes from the Olive Family? I didn't know either! Makes it seem more exotic, doesn't it?
From Duncan and Davies in New Zealand this flashy variegated variety ranks among the best, heavily photographed with lots of hype if you don't already grow it or know it finding a picture shouldn't pose much of a problem.
Zone 5 Bright yellow and green variegated leaves and red stems combine to create season long appeal. Flowers in spring. Originally from New Zealand. 6-8 feet tall at maturity. Plant in full sun. Very showy.

Festive yellow and green variegated leaves and red stems create a big splash. Oh yes, it flowers too. Introduced by Duncan & Davies of New Zealand. This cultivar is one of the best with variegated leaves. The foliage is green with a deep yellow center, and the markings are retained well. Beautiful RED stems. Grows wider than tall. The Variegated foliage moves this Forsythia out of the 'one season' Spring category because it's lovely from spring through late Fall.
