Cotoneasters are well known for their abilities as tolerant and efficient groundcovers and this selection sounds like a good one?a very prostrate form with large leaves and a name implying it will cover anything! S/M-D
An evergreen or semi-evergreen (in cold areas) prostrate groundcover, 12-16" high in the species but much shorter in Mooncreeper with slender, creeping branches which root down readily where they touch the soil. Small bright red berries with lustrous dark green leaves. Makes a dense, beautiful carpet. White flowers in spring are larger than species and this is 'The' form of the species to grow! Successful in the Southeast where others are not happy.
