Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Fragrant pink-white bells cover this beautifully mounding small-medium shrub for an amazing long show! (July to frost) Easy going and wonderful for any yard. S-PSh/M
Arching reddish brown canes and small, glossy dark green leaves with masses of pale pink to white, lightly fragrant flowers in early summer, usually with a second flush in fall. The pink to red calyces (sepals) persist on the shrub after flowering making a nice contrast with the foliage which can turn purplish bronze. Glossy abelia is a hybrid between two Chinese species: C. chinensis and C. uniflora.
A fragrant, dependable shrub with a profusion of blooms over a long season. Dislikes very windy spots. Good for textural effect, in mass, or as hedges. Handsome in bloom which is most of the time! A dependable classic that deserves a place in every garden.
