Nursery contributed plant descriptions

While Thujas have finally starting getting the popularity they deserve, it's our Native forms, however, that people now know. Virtually unknown is the Korean Arborvitae which differs from the native species in having more closely spaced long-shoot leaves with shorter, spreading points, easily picked up by the botanist! To the gardener, you see beautiful large flattened sprays of deep green foliage with a conical form. A hardy, undemanding plant that requires no pruning to maintain it's beautiful shape. Strongly scented foliage has what some think smells like almonds! On 1-12-06, we can't find a single US source on the internet for this plant other than ours.
