Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Monum Butterfly Bush is deciduous and compact with 4-10" purple bloom spikes. It's slightly fragrant blooms open from June until September, sometimes until the first frost. The dwarf bush has an open branch and arching habit. It has smaller leaves than most other butterfly bushes. Monum Butterfly Bush attracts butterflies and hummingbirds when in bloom. Deer resistant.
'Petite Purple' bears abundant spikes of lavender-purple flowers above slender, foliage right through summer, providing a feeding station for the butterflies & hummingbirds in your neighborhood. The flower spikes are smaller (3-4 in.) than those of other cultivars, but they are so plentiful, you'll never be short on color or winged visitors. Renowned for its long season of gracefully displayed, bottlebrush blooms. This is a more delicate looking plant and perfect for a spot where the big 'In Your Face' blooms of many Buddleias would just be too bold.
