Nursery contributed plant descriptions

More restrained (to only 10-12') but with the same huge trumpet flowers (this time in coral-orange!), this vigorous vine will provide a colorful display July-Sept. S/M
'Indian Summer' is the trademarked name for the patented Campsis 'Kudian' but by whatever name this is a winner. Recently introduced from the Netherlands, this hybrid of Chinese and American Trumpet Vines produces 3" apricot with and red throat. blooms in large, hanging clusters nearly all summer. Like all Campsis it's dependable and easy to grow but only reaches a 'diminutive' 12 feet tall (a virtual dwarf in the Campsis world of 30-40' tall vines). Flowers readily even when young. The flowers are more of an Apricot orange color (RHS CC 29) with orange red throats and red stripes running lengthways. Best in full sun. PP13139
