It is very hard to find the true species. Prefers part shade. Has long lasting flowers in late summer. Very tall (5 ft or more). These bulbs are very small----like dimes and nickles. They are probably not as hardy as other Lilies. In any case I would recommend protecting from hard freezing with a thick layer of leaves.
