Gloriosa greenii offers greenish yellow to lemon yellow flowers with thick, leathery, lightly rippled petals. Our selection is a deeper lemon form of the species. Gloriosa lily is hardy to zone 8 and possibly zone 7 if soil conditions are dry during dormancy. Try it under the overhang of the house or grow in a pot that is kept dry and frost-free over winter. All parts of the plant are poisonous so no salads! G. greenii's identity might be G. superba 'Greenii'.
