Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Also spelled Kodora. These exotic flowers from South Africa brighten up the late fall garden with their spicy fragrance. These are red, but I do not have a picture for them, so I am using Nerine Sarniensis picture which is also red. Nerine Kodora is a hybrid of different species of nerine. The exact combination is unknown to me, but it has a large dose of Sarniensis blood. Nerine are a must try for anyone with a warm climate or potted for anyone with a cool windowsill. Winter leaves, summer dormancy. Cold hardy in zones 8-11. Make sure the location is well drained for better cold tolerance. Large 11+ cm bulbs. I don't know if they will bloom this year (because they don't like transplanting), but they are blooming size bulbs.
