    Allium siculum is a broadleaf deciduous perennial bulb / corm / tuber with green foliage. In spring and summer green, pink and purple flowers emerge. Features grassy texture. Attracts bees, butterflies and hummingbirds making it an excellent addition to pollinator gardens. Grows well with sun - dappled shade and regular - low water. Drought tolerant once established. Prefers to be dry in summer. Does well in average, gritty, rich and well-drained soil. A good option if you're seeking something heat tolerant and verticillium wilt resistant.

    This heirloom hails from Mediterranean and Black Seas regions and happily mixes in U.S. gardens, blooming in mid to late spring. Cranberry and ivory bell flowers dangle in the breeze, attracting hummingbirds, butterflies and delighted neighbors' comments. The foliage is also unusual, with slender three dimensional leaves that appear to be grabbed at the tips and twisted. Very cool.
