Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Opening a light pink, this hybrid will age into ivory. A hybrid of Nerine Bowdenii, I guess this will be hardy to zone 7 and perhaps lower. Nerine are a must try for anyone with a warm climate or potted for anyone with a cool windowsill. These exotic flowers from South Africa brighten up the late fall garden with their spicy fragrance. Spring leaves, summer dormancy. Make sure the location is well drained for better cold tolerance. Large 12+ cm bulbs. I don't know if they will bloom this year (because they don't like transplanting), but they are blooming size bulbs.
