Iris 'White van Vliet' is a broadleaf deciduous perennial bulb / corm / tuber with green foliage. In spring white flowers emerge. Features grassy texture. Grows well with sun and regular water. Prefers to be dry in summer. Does well in average and well-drained soil. A good option if you're seeking something verticillium wilt resistant.
These are those wonderful iris you see in floral displays. They are perfect cut flowers and I LOVE EM! It really is tragic that these are not more common. The do best in a sunny area. They multiply very well and have flowered for me year after year with no care.
Zones 6-10 (maybe winter hardy to zone 5 if you plant them in a protected spot...in colder zones, plant in the spring)
Bulbs are 6/7 cm around
