Zn 3. Grey-green foliage turns red with green tips
Large rosettes composed of gray green succulent leaves, each narrowing to a point and delicately fringed with white. Color shifting to add rose shades in the colder time of year, this award-winning selection sends out numerous chicks to fill pots or cover dry difficult areas with ease.
This selection has loose medium-sized rosettes of green leaves with bright red tips and bases.
Commander Hay' forms large 4" rosettes of blue-green and red spatulate pointed leaves. These rosettes will erupt when the plant is old enough to flower, sending forth a snail like neck terminating with clusters of pink starry flowers. It's a good thing baby chick rosettes form as offsets, for once the big rosettes flowers and sets seed, its life is over.
