Delphinium Highlander 'Bolero' is a magnificent cultivar with ruffly, fully double flowers in shades of lavender purple and blue with creamy white centres held on strong, upright stems 3-4 feet tall. Removing spent flower spikes will result in another round of blooms on secondary spikes in late summer and fall.

Pompoms of blue, mauve to lavender petals, with pale lime accents, adorn the 2' stalks of this shorter Delphinium. Being shorter, it may not require staking, but would still provide a bevy of cut blossoms for arranging. Performs in June and early July, and perhaps longer in cool summer climates.
