Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Unlike its namesake this Campanula is not out to invade your garden; clusters of dark-lavender sterile flowers sit atop compact (15 x 25") strong-stemmed plants; non-invasive. S/M
A “wonderful new discovery” according to Chicago Botanic Garden’s trial garden manager Jim Ault, this free-flowering superior cultivar is compact and vigorous, blooming in late spring and re-blooming until fall, featuring 2” long clustered bells of lilac blue that will bring hummers and butterflies to your garden. Deadhead for neatness.
We've heard good things about this vigorous yet not stoloniferous Bellflower. Deep violet blue bells are borne on 18" stems over a long period beginning in early summer, above rosettes of heart shaped serrated leaves. One report we read mentions not cutting plants back in the fall, so we'll pass this info on.
