Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Geum Totally Tangerine 'Tim's Tangerine' has large, sunny, light to dark orange flowers that are sterile thus offering a much longer bloom time over many months and many more flowers than the typical avens - some say up to five times more! Though orange is not usually the most popular colour, when gardeners see these shades of orange, they fall in love. Prized for the front of the herbaceous border, mass planted as a ground cover, and in mixed beds and rock gardens. Easy and carefree. Popular with bees. Deer and rabbit resistant.
Because it?s sterile this large (30" x 18") Geum produces an INcredible number (5 times more, it?s said!) of large bright apricot-tangerine flowers over an all-summer-long season; ?a top performer?. S/M PPAF
A clump forming perennial, with a rosette of softly hairy, pinnate leaves. In Spring and Summer, semi-double, tangerine, anemone-like flowers, are borne on tall branching stems. One of the few brightly coloured flowers for shade. Attractive foliage goes well with violets and primulas.Well drained soil. A lot tougher than you might think.

Bountiful masses of juicy apricot blooms on 24-30" branching stems add a splash of cheer for months & months on what may be the most FLORIFEROUS & LONG BLOOMING Geum ever! Seriously, word is it produces five times as many flowers as other Geums. A fast grower, the flower show begins in late Spring continuing through Summer attracting butterflies from near & far. Fuzzy foliage forms a cute & compact clump 18" wide & 14" tall. For those of you in hotter spots, a bit of afternoon shade is preferred.? If you have never tried Geums before, they're one of the toughest, heat tolerant & longest lived perennials you'll ever grow! Deadhead for the ultimate flower fest. Compost yearly & cut back in Winter.
