Geum 'Mai Tai' is a broadleaf deciduous or semi-evergreen perennial with green foliage. In spring apricot flowers emerge. Attracts butterflies making it an excellent addition to pollinator gardens. Grows well with sun and even moisture - regular water. Does well in acidic, alkaline, rich and well-drained soil. A good option if you're seeking something verticillium wilt resistant.

An Intrinsic Introduction! Heavy blooming, vigorous plants have single to semi-double blooms of vermillion red fading to a peachy-pink in May. Clumping mounds reach just over 1' wide topped by burgundy 18" stems. Full sun, moist to average soil. PPAF
Cocktails anyone? If you prefer pastels to bold color, try this little number. Geum 'Mai Tai' bears semi-double 1 1/2" ruffled apricot blossoms which contrast well on 14" burgundy stems in late May- July. Pretty as a cut flower, and the deer aren't interested.
