Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Chameleon-like, the flowers of this 3-4' backbone-of-the-border plant look white from afar but change to a glistening pink (pink flecks on white) when you get closer to enjoy their wonderful fragrance. S/M-GDr
Long willowy wands of white flowers, each floret having a small blush of pale pink around the eye. Very long-blooming, it puts on a good show from early-July to mid-August here in our northern Vermont garden. This is a remarkably vigorous cultivar which outperforms all the other Phlox maculata of my acquaintance. Excellent mildew resistance. Thanks to Darrell Probst for making this selection.
'Flower Power', introduced by Darrell Probst, lives up to its name! Hundreds of delicately scented white flowers top clean, glossy green foliage in mid summer. Florets take on a pinkish cast as they age. Grows 36-40".
