Digitalis x mertonensis is a broadleaf evergreen or semi-evergreen perennial with green foliage. In spring and summer pink flowers emerge. Attracts bees and hummingbirds making it an excellent addition to pollinator gardens. Grows well with sun - mostly shade and even moisture - regular water. Does well in average, rich and well-drained soil.

One of the few perennial foxgloves, these 2-3' spires of large deep-strawberry-pink flowers are a delight all summer. S-PSh/M
(STRAWBERRY FOXFLOVE) Interesting cross between D. grandiflora and D. purpurea that is more PER-ennial than BI-ennial…spikes, 2-3’ skyward in May>June with luscious strawberry rose flowers with a coppery burnishing. Prefers a moist, acidic soil that is compost enriched, sun to part shade. Allow some of the stems to set seed for insurance.
This evergreen Foxglove is loved for its lush, velvety, dark green basal foliage. Its large flowers are tinged with rosy mauve and peppered with coppery sandstone. Divide after blooming to maintain as a perennial. Combine with Geranium 'Langthorn's Blue' to make a bold statement.
Spikes of large foxglove flowers, the color of crushed strawberries, are borne in late Spring and Summer on this vigorous, clumping perennial, so you can keep your foxgloves blooming thru Summer! D. mertonensis is a cross between D. purpurea and D. grandiflora, self-sows, and comes true from seed.
Strawberry Foxglove. Warm strawberry pink flowers on 2-3 stems in June and July. It is slightly more perennial than D. purpurea as it is a cross between D. purpurea and D. grandiflora Plants typically live for 2-3 years, but divisions may be made every 2 years to maintain vigor or it can be propagated by seed.
