(SEVEN UP SAGE) Sprawling evergreen perennial 18” tall and 24” wide, with highly fragrant, silver felted leaves that smell remarkably like 7 Up! Salmon apricot blossoms over a long period from summer thru fall…sun to light shade, well drained soil…also nice in pots, occasional water. Place it where you can enjoy it with your nose and your eyes! USDA Z8 3” pot
This Stachys forms a soft grey mound and produces showy peach flowers over an extended period - sometimes late Spring to Autumn! It is drought and deer resistant, and hummingbirds go crazy for it. Find a nice dry spot and pop it in with Artemisia 'Powys Castle' for months of pleasure.
We love the grey felted, slightly fruit-scented foliage of this 2't x 4'w peren. but deer don't!; small coral-apricot-salmon flowers on 1-2' spikes are enjoyed over a long summer season. Sun-PSh(where hot)/Med
Fruit-scented soft-gray foliage is topped with 1-2' spikes of apricot-coral salvia-like flowers. At it's best in sunny conditions, it is a good plant to tone down orange-red color schemes.
