Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Each year we plant a display container at the entrance to our nursery. It's a spot as far away from the hose as we can get. Plants that do well there need to love heat and dryness. Last year's combo included 'Taj Mahal', with its almost black, dark maroon blossoms on trailing stems, Oxalis triangularis, Phormium 'Apricot Queen', Aeonium 'Schwartkop' and Sedum 'Angelina'. Not only did this grouping put up with the dry conditions, the combo looked fantastic up until Halloween.
