Found in the Biokovo Mtns of S. Yugoslavia, this mat former has runners to 12" long with glossy, scalloped, 1-3" leaves that make a pretty groundcover by themselves but are topped with 1" white flowers flushed with pink at the center. S/M
Hardy geranium with aromatic foliage that hails from Croatia…excellent along a path where feet will release the nice aroma! Attractive small leaves are evergreen to the low teens for us; a delightful ground cover 6-10” tall, light pink flowers with contrasting rose stamens in late spring. Sun to part shade, average moisture and soils – takes dry shade when established. Deer, rabbit and slug resistant. Attracts butterflies!
Zn 3. Aromatic foliage. White flowers/pink centers
Copious amounts of pinkish white flowers in late Spring and then sporadically throughout the growing season over attractive somewhat dissected foliage. A former Perennial Plant Association plant of the Year.
An excellent edger that produces white flowers with a flush of pink for 3-4 months! Low growing with good green leaves that are fragrant. Often remains evergreen through our mild winters and will colour a little in autumn. Drought tolerant once established.
White flowers w/pink blush; red fall color fragrant foliage Ht 6-8"
A classic hardy geranium, a hybrid between G. dalmaticum and G.macrorrhizum. Blooms heavily, with jaunty white, pink centered flowers in late spring to early summer. Foliage is glossy and nice, with a sharp herbal scent to it, and stays looking good year-round, flushing attractively red in the fall and winter. Takes sun or shade, though flowering will be reduced in deep shade, and doesn't really have any serious problems. Never breathtaking, but a good reliable workhorse of a plant. Zone 5
Plants form a low, tidy mound with bright green 1-2" leaves. Nearly white flowers with pink centers and reddish veining grace the plant most heavily in spring, but appear continuously throughout the year. The clean foliage provides good autumn color. Grows to 12". Drought tolerant in our experience. Highly recommended
Palest pink, almost white blossoms above lemony scented foliage. Blooms in May and June, and in the fall, chilly temperatures change the foliage colors to shades of red. 6-8".
