Nursery contributed plant descriptions

A silver-leaved beauty, 'Colchester White' reads almost white in the garden. Actually a large Dusty Miller, its filagreed foliage adds presence to plant combos. Combines wonderfully with almost everything, and especially performs well in hot dry situations. Lavender thistle like flowers bloom on mature plants, but it's really all about the foliage. Expect plants to reach 18' x 18" in one season, though where hardy they can grow to larger proportions.
