New name and hardier than we thought.....Formerly Eupatorium coelestinum, the plant taxonaomists have bestowed the name Con-oh-clin-ium on this late summer into fall bloomer. The species name co-el-es-ti-num means heavenly. Clusters of heavebnly sky blue flowers top 18-30" stems in August and September, attracting butterflies and pollinatiors. Conocllinium enjoy average evenly moist soil conditions, and they spread by stolons, forming a nice patch where happy.
