A fine new selection from Europe of this always useful, always handsome groundcover with its round velvety leaves that disappear "under a cloud of green-yellow stars for weeks in summer." (GS Thomas). S-PSh/M
18-24” mounds of nearly indestructible olive green, rounded foliage on which water shines like drops of mercury! Clouds of chartreuse flowers appear above the leaves May July. Tough and useful as well as pretty, this evergreen perennial enjoys moist, well drained soil and sun to part shade. Deer and critter resistant. USDA Zone 3  4" pot
Profuse sprays of yellow-green frothy flowers adorn a mound of lush gray-green foliage, much larger than our other Alchemilla offerings. The leaves alone will enhance the foreground of any perennial border. 'Auslese' prefers cool moist soil, so we oblige by planting it in a woodland setting under a high canopy.
Lovely "Lady's Mantle" is a reliable edging plant for the mixed border. A standard in our own gardens and designs. Blooms for 5-6 weeks with handsome scalloped leaves and billows of airy chartreuse blossoms in early summer. Cut back plant to the ground after blooming for fresh growth. Likes a moist, but well drained soil.
