This old-fashioned flowering deciduous shrub is very pretty and breezy with panicles of cupped, fragrant white flowers in late spring/early summer. White-splashed and speckled leaves cover mounding and cascading branches - a veritable bridal veil perfect for a light and airy effect. Minimum temperature: -20?F
Scabra is a big, slightly blowsy old-fashioned shrub, reaching 10 feet tall, maybe half that wide, with open, arching branches. Foliage is liberally splashed with irregular white variegation that is most pronounced on the new growth. In late spring/early summer, loads itself down with dense 3-6 inches panicles of pure white flowers.
Arching branches are bedecked with white splashed somewhat puckered leaves and white flowers in spring. to 6' in partial shade. More compact in full sun.
