This superb new selection of our native 2-3' shrub forms wonderful dome-shaped ?flower? heads of fully double star-like sterile flowers; unique and eye-catching. PSh/M
Cold hardy hydrangea w/ double white flowers, compact

I met Hayes Jackson in 2005 at the Hydrangea Conference in Georgia and he showed pictures of this unique sport he found walking his property in Alabama. I had never seen anything so stunning. Like the other arborescens family, this takes good sun and in fact needs a little to be at it's best. The leaves are very serrated and a great contrast to the greenish white blooms. Enjoy this one in a well draining and sunny location
A unique look and compact habit for a very cold hardy Smooth Hydrangea. The flowerheads are comprised of sterile, multi-sepaled white flowers, appearing in June, and are wonderful used in fresh or dried arrangements. Grows quickly to 6' x 6'. 15-18" plants for spring shipping, but will put on considerable growth this season. 5 pt. pots for spring.
Double flowers are the icing on this great little hydrangea. The leaves are smaller and the stalks are not so rangy and gangly. Flowers later, too, so it will take you into fall beautifully.
