Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Densely packed with up to 150! snow white flowers, the pendulous 14-18" racemes adorn this large vine late in the Wisteria season (late spring); very beautiful! S/M
Old Japanese cultivar, faint scent, one of the most beautiful. Blooms a little later in the season than other floribundas. A dazzling beauty! Also sold under the name of 'Show Showers.' Filtered to full sun in humus-rich, moist, well-drained soil.
We have decided to offer this cultivar under this name due to its long-standing recognition as such in Japan. Over the years this particular wisteria has been seen growing in many famous locations, such as the Japanese bridge in Monet's garden at Giverny. This variety has white flowers on racemes of 15-24" in length, and is late flowering with a strong fragrance. For all of these reasons we think this plant should be in everyone's wisteria collection.
