Tsuga canadensis 'Bacon Cristate' - A miniature form of Canadian Hemlock. Very small cristate needles on stems that grow 1/2 inch a year. The plantis an irregular conical upright. Found by Ralph Bacon near Newton, NJ in 1925. First introduced by Watnong Nursery in Morris Plains, NJ.
MINIATURE. This slow growing plant (only 1" per year), has dark green leaves that grow in an unusual crested pattern. Upright in habit.
