Nursery contributed plant descriptions

An extremely rare Chinese species with foliage intermediate between S. hydrangioides and S. integrifolium, flat clusters of lacecap hydrangea flowers for sun or part shade, it is supposed to be zone 5 hardy.
The shiny-green foliage and large white "lace-caps" of this rare Chinese species make it attractive whatever its name... but it's actually more likely some form of climbing Hydrangea, according to Dan Hinkley. Sun-PSh/Med
This is a rare chinese species with foliage some where between its cousins S. integrifolia and S. hydrangeoides that is a lovely shiny green. The blooms are clusters of the typical white lacecap flowers.
