This hardy variety is a multistemmed broad and rounded shrub with spreading and arching branches. 'Aurea' will mature at 12'. The foliage is golden yellow with 12" pinnate leaves consisting of 9 lance-shaped leaflets. The flowers are 8" flattened panicles of white and bloom in midsummer. In autumn, red fruit appears and attract birds. Because of the yellow foliage plant this one in partial shade.
