This Pear cultivar is much loved in China for its very juicy creamy-white flesh tasting like "a cross between a rose & a pineapple", or like a pear!; ripen on the tree--they'll be crisp & sweet fresh or cooked. Sun/Med
This very attractive variety has a classic pear shape. Large fruit is bright yellow, juicy and sweet. The yellow fruit is accented in the fall by beautiful burgundy red foliage. Ripens in late September to October. Pollinates well with 'Chojoro', 'Kikusui', and 'Shinko'.
